In the search to be harder to kill, what I eat and how much I move are 2 things that I can control every day. Choose good things and you become quicker, stronger and harder to kill…Choose processed garbage and you become slower, less motivated and softer… it effects so much including your mental state.
I was surprised how great I feel when I eat good stuff…and SO surprised how quickly garbage makes you feel sluggish and just bad. Being hard to kill starts with a good mental space, a good space to de-escalate when needed, to leave before you are physically tested, and strength to go to the gym to prepare for when you need it.
Fitness starts with a strong mind, which builds a strong body, which chooses to stay sharp and fuel that body with the right nutrition to keep the body strong and the mind stronger. Listen to what your mind and body tell you every day to become one day harder to kill.
